I will not feel tired today as after today, I will be able to have a total of 3-4 holidays. Which is consists of May Day and Youth day. I did quite a lot of things today, tabulating and recording details of trunking. Helped to check the drawings for error and even went to site for some sight opening. I even helped them in taking pictures that they needed.

I told Qing-gong about yesterday, I said sorry to him and sorry for disappointing him. He said never mind, I was relieved to hear that. He said all this is part and parcel of life, everyone got to go through this and see whether you are able to take it. Thus, do what you are required to do, do with confidence.

I been asked to photocopy few drawings and identify those headroom and highlight to indicate that for others to see. I was told to find someone which is not from our existing district which means I got to use any means of transport to reach there. The admin sent me this;

In celebrating 1st May which is Labor Day. I was not very happy because I did not do up till one of my colleague expected. He wanted me to call up someone from another company which I do not know him. As I did not dare to do so, he flared up and calls himself instead. He said that actually wanted to use this chance to let me try this out, as in experiencing new things, to open up myself. However, I disappointed him and most; I am disappointed in myself too.

A colleague from “甲方” told me, “以小卖小”. The meaning of that is” 以为自己小就让别人处处让着自己”. Let me do a direct translation, it means that “Do not keep thinking that you are smaller than others, keep letting others go first”. Another told me that, everyone is the same, everyone is from earth, and it is not that some are from mars or something. Another one told me that, everyone is the same and equal, and just that the position is different. I will bear all those in mind.

There are quite a lot of things to be sent out, thus, I went to help out. Whenever, I got any free time, I cannot loaf around as there is still a concurrent thing going on. Which is filling up those 10 excel worksheet. After a long day, we went back and cook. Fried rice again however, I added something new, Fried egg with cheese and winglet with cheese. To my disappointment, only the egg with cheese is delicious, the winglet is failure although the winglet is nicely cooked.

We went to their largest theme park in Beijing, Happy valley, which we did not get to go that time as it was raining cats and dogs.

These are various rides but I not able to take all as we are all busy playing.

The tickets was RMB 160, at first, I still thought that it is rather expensive for such expenses. However, I think I am wrong, their theme is bigger than us and it is whole lot of fun. However, we did not managed to try all the rides as there are too many yet little time to play.

We reached there in the late morning, and they closes at 5.30pm. We still enjoyed in playing and did not in regret in coming and lucky that I tried all those rides as possible because it was so much fun.

We had our late dinner at a restaurant near our house. That is when I accidentally used a female toilet in my entire life, I would not have notice it until I being spotted by 2 ladies who wanted to use the toilet. I felt awkward afterwards.

Sorry that I did not upload all those photos that i taken. It is because it just too tiring.

Once again, we got to work during Saturday, I thought I have finished those 6 systems excel sheets. However, there is a second part which is to find out how much money that it cost for every different types of cables, wires, etc. I bought a magazine which costs SGD$3.60 whereas my friend, Justin, buying at SGD$10+.

We went for a late lunch as they are having meeting to discuss things. Saturday is the only day whereby everyone over here will get to sit around which other to eat. Yan Yu and I went back to the pet shop and check out the two puppies but they are being brought back to home as this few a days is quite cold for them.

I continued those excel sheets that I been given yesterday, I am halfway through before lunch. After lunch, I just found out that I done another half two days ago. We finally got to go to the site, excited because never did I go before a construction site. However, we only got to walk around the ground level.

Due to this situation, We unable to go up.

Monkey bars? Anyone? I think Jason will be fond of it.

I think that is enough for first time, after all, it is the tallest building in Beijing. Thus, I went on doing my concurrent recording of wires, cable and trunking. We went back and cooked our dinner.

Construction site is more than just what you see outside but still, it is dirty inside.

As soon as I settled down, I being a new task to work on, I am required to compile the list as it is needed for ordering of wires and cables. I went to the site in the afternoon and given another new task upon return. Tabulating a total of 6 excel worksheets which are the 6 different systems found inside the building which CNA is responsible for this time round, they are Alarm system, wireless system, Service person ringing system, Wired television system, Entrance guard system and night patrol system. Qing yang and I went back to Xi dan to get a pair of shoes as one pair is not enough for me.
