We did not go out today as we decided to use this day to rest but we still need to register at the police post. In the end, Zi Liang and Wei Ann went instead, because I woke up at 4 plus. We cook instant noodles for our lunch as we did not wish to go out and spent the day gaming and ordered Pizza Hut for our dinner.
The delivery of pizza is right on time however, they do not have things like chilli flakes or cheese.

I was so afraid that my translation will be rejected after all, it is the first time that I doing such things and it is for serious business. Luckily, he said, “Good, Thank you!” I was relieved when I heard that. I was thinking that whether at the end of this OSIP, will I grow fatter or thinner. However, there is something which I am sure about is that, I can wake up due to alarm clock, instead of asking parents to wake u up. I then realize that it has been the second week since we were here, I not sure whether is it fast or slow.

We continue in finishing the assigned task and able to finish it. I was given a new task which is about translation. I was asked to translate from English to Chinese. At first, I thought it will be difficult to do so. However, I find it interesting and fun, as if this will to continue, my English and Chinese will improve in no time. It was raining cats and dogs, so we need to stay back and wait for the rain to be smaller before leaving the office. There were almost flooding everywhere, my socks are drenched or soaked with rainwater. However, it was quite fun to be in such a cold rain. I went in search for my lotion for my dry skin as it terribly hurts but in vain. One of the colleague told me that there some methods in curing the rashes, I decided to give it a try.

Today we get to eat our home-made breakfast; the feeling is so much nicer as it feels like we are in Singapore, what is better than starting a day with a good breakfast. However, due to preparation of breakfast, we are a bit behind time for work, thus, we walk faster to work and managed to arrive on time. This is the first time whereby I experience visible air came out from me as I breathe out.

Zi liang, Yan yu, Qing Yang and I went to the admin office to register the 6 of us for staying at the new place for this period until the end of our SIP. We took cab to work as we did want to be too late for work. We were still doing the work that is being given two days ago but I was told to tag along to the office again as maybe next time it might be just me going there. As the rate of money spending is quite high, we decided to cook instant noodles after showing an interested young couple to the old flat.

We went back to work as usual but after finishing the previous work that he asked us to. We were given a new piece of work. It is to identify the type of CCTV being used in 2 different types of scenario. One is before “renovate” while another is just being used as it is. We need to do quite a lot as it is from B4 to L74. After work, we went to one of the biggest market in Beijing to shop for our things which we hoped that we would able to find them as we were used in using them when in Singapore. We end our day with a dinner at a local restaurant.

Today we went back to work after the first weekend, I yet to know about those working adult of Monday’s blue. Maybe further down the road, I will know. As the project manager passes us something to read about over the weekend (Sunday) but before that the admin staff ask me to help out in sorting out the documents for her. After which, He told us what are we supposed to do for today. When we know what to do, we divide the work equally. We thought of buying “Long-Term” breakfast as to save money but in the end we decided to change to tomorrow instead. We had dinner before going back.

Today is the first weekend after the first week of work (6 days in fact). Thus, we decided to go out for shopping but due to the blackout yesterday night, we went to the office to replace the card for purchasing electricity. After which, we went to take the subway (MRT) to the shopping centre at Xi Dian. I am surprised that there is a 77th Street over there and it is a large shopping centre selling a lot of teenager things. Thus, I think that there would be a good place to get some presents for my family and friends.

Today is the first week that we came to Beijing, as usual; we all went back to work to finish the previous assignment. We went out to eat as today there isn’t any delivery service. First time, eat with them, a brand new experience that I can’t get in Singapore.
When we were back in office, there is one couple interested in renting the previous house that we stayed in. Thus, Qing Yang and I went back and show them the apartment. After which, we return to work. We will give something new today; the project manager told us to go back and read up and try to understand first, they will go through with us on Monday.
It still the same house whereby we eventually stayed there for 1 week before, I even need to mix my own water for bathing because either the water is too warm or too cold.

Today we went back to do the same job again. One of the staff gave us something to eat which is a famous delicacy from Tianjin. We dismissed work at around 1pm and went back to move our things to a new place that we going to stay for another 5 months.
Since you have been reading my blog, I shall let u take a look at our new hostel.
Tell me if its better?
Eh after all , its comparable with a 4-room flat in Singapore.
Although I need to walk an extra of 30 to 40 mins of walk since moved, I think worth it?

We went back and do the same work as we did not finish in the first place; it is a total of 70+ storeys high. I was asked to tag along to the office that I went last time. I was asked to recognize those people as I maybe will be asked to deliver documents or drawings to them or from them. We end our day with subway and bought some snacks from the street.

We were given some work to do today, we were asked to record down those legends of the drawings. It may seems easy but it is not as their drawings is complex, in Chinese and most importantly.
We need to do from level 6 to 68 and I spent almost whole of the afternoon for just doing 5 storeys because I need to stress my eyes hard to see some of the things. We end our day at around 6plus in the evening, we went back and put our laptop, went for dinner with Zi Liang and Wei Ann. The weather is getting colder and I hope I can endure it.

Today is the day that we started working at CNA; six of us are being grouped into group of 4 and 2. Qing Yang and I was being assigned upcoming world trade centre. Heard that this building is the tallest building in Beijing, thus, I am much honored to be assigned to this upcoming building.

As today is the first day of work, we were not be given too much of work. I was told to sort out some blueprints; they are so much complex compared to what we did during school lab.
Doing some excel stuffs and I was being brought around to the office and this is whereby I got to see the real office which is so stressed.
Qing yang and I were told to read up a book “Technology Standard” sort of a guideline book where we came across it earlier on and the book was 271 pages. The thing that I wanted to stressed about is, everything I did today was in Chinese expect my reflections for today but it was fun after all.
In other words, I got to see everything that I learned from textbook today but I believed that more will come.

We went to CNA main office at 9am, we get to see respective boss, they talked to us regarding about this 6 month attachment. We had orientation for that day.
We then went to open bank accounts but we cannot as our passports are locked in the hostel. Meanwhile, we went back in search of lost keys but in vain.
Thus, we went with "Nanny" to invite locksmith to unlock the lock of our hostel. We went back to Wei Ann’s hostel as it is closer to main office.

For those who came for my farewell chalet, is the toilet comparable?
At first, I thought we are suppose to live here for just 1 week however, the "Nanny" told us that we are going to stay there for this 6 months.
Take one last peek* before we going out for free and easy. This is the living room whereby we did not come into contact at all. Although, this place looks like inhabitable for most of singaporeans, here got wireless connection.
We took their MRT, this is my first time coming to Beijing, China. Thus, Whatever things that I do here is the first time.Take a look at the amount of people waiting for MRT even an off-peak period.
Today is like a free and easy day, 6 of us meet and went for some shopping, etc. We passed by incredible building. Thus I can not wait to snap it down. Posted up to share with u guys, China is devloping and improving fast!

Beijing is real big compared to Singapore and the weather is real nice to walk.
We went to silk street for some shopping and had a great time over there bargaining. After which, we end the day with a dinner and we find our way back home after visiting a new shopping mall with the largest LCD television ever seen!

However, we cannot go back as our key were broken, thus, we went to Wei Ann's hostel to stay overnight.

I was having mixed feeling as I was approaching the airport. The 6 of us met at Changi Airport Terminal 1 to get our boarding pass. Quite a lot of friends and my family members came to send me.
I was thinking, 6 hours ago, I still at Singapore. 6 hours later? I got to wait for another 6 months before seeing Singapore. Whats more sad than leaving ur own country for such a long time? You will miss everything about Singapore luh.
I almost cried as I was leaving for 6 months; longest ever.
When we got there, we were received by Mr Wang, he drove us to the place where we will be staying and followed by a treat from Mr Ong at “Ma La Yu Huo”.
The Boss said that this meal will be the best meal throughout this six months.
